Happy Moments Friday

(Photo from here)

Moments of happiness this week:

-- The first good rain of the summer... and drifting, wandering clouds fading between white and gray that follow

-- Audio books from the library

-- My family insisting on coming to my rescue

-- New baby smell from my new niece

-- Coming home late one night, in the dark, and turning the corner to find the porch light on to guide me home

-- A testimony of tithing, found in many forms

-- Making chocolate cupcakes in ice cream cones... even if they didn't turn out perfect

-- Learning about Nepali wedding traditions from my Nepali co-worker

-- Having my 5 year old niece hug me at all the right times

(Edit: If you're confused, this is going to be a weekly post every Friday about bits of happiness from the week preceding it. I shamelessly stole the idea from a blogger I greatly admire.)

:) That's sweet.

Are you going to the release party? I miss our stalker days.

"Happiness is all around you."

I didn't invent that, but I believe in it with all my heart.

Which audio books?

Also, do you check out audio books from the net library? If so, will you walk me through the process. I can't figure it out on my own.

Hehe. I got the idea from another blogger (Gala Darling), so it's all very well.

I so want to see Nepal. And summer rainstorms are glorious. One of my favorite things about the Midwest, but of course we don't get them here.
