- I really need to not procrastinate anymore. Letting myself watch "Ace of Cakes" this weekend instead of do homework was really stupid. While it's a fun show, it wasn't worth the crazy/insane stress I got into this week (though it was more than just "Ace of Cakes" that distracted me)
- I freak out if I haven't checked my e-mail for a few hours. This one actually really surprised me, because I thought I could easily get away with only checking every morning. Yet I found myself getting a nagging feeling after two or three hours, and I'd have to check it again. What if someone ordered something on Etsy? Or left a comment? I have to keep updated! I think that I may be more addicted to e-mail, (or rather knowing if I have e-mail) than I thought I was.
- I need to make sure about projects ahead of time. I realized on Monday that I had an Astronomy observation due on Wednesday. So guess what I did Tuesday night? Yup, you guessed it, spent an hour trying to figure out why I could only see the North star, and not the rest of Ursa Minor. Turns out that Polaris is at the end of the "handle" not the corner of the "cup." Yes I am a moron. And, no, I didn't go into my 5AM job the next day. I had a test on Wednesday, too, and sleep is always nice for things like that.
- Things Really do Work Out. Even though I had a literature quiz and a mythology paper due yesterday, I was ridiculously happy. Even after I realized I'd left my zip drive in my computer at my apartment, and that I'd (quickly) have to walk back to retrieve it before class, I was still happy. I studied notecards as I walked, and I felt like I would do just fine on the test (and I think I did do just fine. In fact, I think I did great. Yay!) I was also pretty happy with my paper in the end, and I think that the Lord really helped me to stay positive and upbeat yesterday, which made it tons better!
So, to sum up, I am (A) apparently addicted to the internet (I also had a hard time not checking blogs occasionally) and (B) very much extremely happy that I am done with this horrendous week at last. Also, I just ordered those 3 books off of Amazon and a set of 50 thank-you cards from Etsy to put into my packages for my shop, so that was pretty nice, too.
Now I'm off to hurry and finish some homework for creative writing. Huzzah!
